Texas Board of Education OKs Science Materials

The article reports that 92 online programs in supplemental science adoption for grades five to 12 have been approved by the Texas states Board of Education on July 22, 2011. It says that the programs will provide schools with access to science materials when they open on August 24, 2011. It mentions that 17 publishers submitted the said online programs including Rice University, Pearson Education Inc., and Cengage Learning Inc. It adds that the supplemental adoption is worth nearly 60 dollars.
