PARCC Revises Assessment Model

The article reports that the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for Colleges and Careers (PARCC) has revised its assessment model. It says that PARCC is one of the consortia that are charged to redesign the comprehensive testing landscape in U.S. schools. It states that two summative assessment components appear to be restacked under the PARCC revisions with two optional assessments earlier in the school year. It adds that the new assessments will start in the 2014-2015 school year.
