After Friending NGS School, Cengage Decides to Buy it

The article reports on the June 2011 agreement signed by Cengage Learning Inc., the second largest college publisher in the U.S. to acquire the U.S. National Geographic Society (NGS)'s School Publishing business. It says that the agreement also extends the strategic partnership Cengage has had with the NGS for adoption of NGS content and branding since 2007. More so, the basis of the acquisition is the focus on English-language teaching.
