ABSTRACT
The article reports that more U.S. credit unions (CUs) will offer contactless mobile payment services. Boeing Employees CU (BECU) vice president of virtual banking Howie Wu says that BECU will offer contactless mobile payment services in the next 12-18 months and it will be through the BECU mobile banking network using near-field communication (NFC). Moreover, Sunmark Federal CU (FCU) marketing director David Weinstein says NFC payments are more secure and convenient than credit cards.
