Live Chat: Small Volume, Yet ClOs Extol Value

The article discusses the live web chat services of credit unions (CUs) in the U.S. It says that live web chats just comprises almost three percent of the total telephone calls CUs receive from members, and chief information officers (CIO) are unsure on the sales and costs benefits of live web chats. However, Pacific Service CU associate vice president (AVP) of operations Michelle Shelor says web chats provide members with an alternative way to communicate with CUs.
