ABSTRACT
The article discusses a research study on the transformation of the enterprise sector with the influx of devices such as iPhones and iPads that lead to more work for information technology (IT) departments. The (IDC) research survey conducted in 9 countries with 3,000 respondents focused on areas including consumerization trend in an organization, security and consumer support applications. Findings showed that 69% of workers use smartphone devices more than IT executives who use them at 34%.
