ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of set-top data by several television (TV) stations in the U.S. It states that TV stations can get better answer to the question on how many people watched their local programs with the help of set-top box data from TV providers, satellite, and cable. Nick Matesi, vice president and general manager of Gray Television's KOLO-TV, says that the service is a necessary and innovative resource for their station.
