ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the "Roch Carrier's The Hockey Sweater in Space" event hosted by the Friends of Library and Archives Canada and the Canadian Space Agency at Ottawa headquarters of the Library and Archives Canada. The event was aimed for the hand-over of the official flying kit that contains the copy of the book authored by Roch Carrier that Dr. Robert Thirsk had read during his 2009 outer space mission. The event promotes and raise awareness of learning and literacy.
