The article focuses on the use of liquid coating in protecting wounds. It states that professor Jan Gooch of Georgia Institute recognized the potential of liquid and developed coatings as barrier dressings. Gooch developed a miniemulsion coating liquid formulation, which contain polymeric acrylic, dioctyl maleate, and vinyl acetate. It also mentions that the performance analysis of the liquid coating confirmed its combat attributes in the military.
