ABSTRACT
The article reports on the ruling of U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth allowing the federal government to continue funding human embryonic stem cell research. Proponents of stem cell research demand the Congress to settle the issue with legislation after Christian groups filed a suit to block the policy of U.S. President Barack Obama allowing stem cell research. Proponents cite other sources of stem cells and argue that ending the use of embryonic stem cells would be a life-and-death mistake.
