ABSTRACT
Discrepancies between the mechanical response of m-toluidine obtained from ultrasonic measurements and Brillouin scattering have been observed. The concepts of aging and thermodynamic fictive temperature as well as the differences in the liquid samples investigated are indicated by the authors as relevant features for the comparison. © 2002 American Institute of Physics.
