ABSTRACT
The article discusses the effects which climatic changes have had on the adventure travel industry. The melting of ice and recession of glaciers in the Arctic, the Andes, and Antarctic have opened new passages and brought about easier animal sightings, according to travel and nature industry experts such as Jorge Rodriguez, Peter Robertson, and Laurie Barnard. Adventurer Jock Wishart rowed to the magnetic North Pole, which was previously impossible due to ice, to raise awareness about global warming.
