ABSTRACT
The article discusses the standards for global food labelling to be created by the Codex Food Labelling Committee of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. Bill Jeffrey of the Centre for Science in the Public Interest mentions that the international standards would empower the countries to conduct back-of-package labelling standards. It states that Canada is one of the countries adopting the back-of-package labelling standards.
