ABSTRACT
The article discusses the utility of the cooperative program related to current monthly employment estimates together with data relating to hours of work and earnings of workers. The program offers a logical solution to the problem of providing adequate current nonagricultural employment information. There is the obvious fact that each cooperating administrative and employment agency has much to contribute to the cooperative program. The state employment security agencies have the regular labor contribution reports giving monthly covered employment information.
