ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Inova Alexandria Hospital, Virginia had implemented a state-funded information technology (IT) pilot project which provides medication reconciliation process in the emergency department and help clinicians make decisions about patient care. It offers details related to the projects future goals, technology from the GE Healthcare and the NoVaRHIO grant. Also cited the comments by Michelle Le, pharmacy director for Inova Alexandria.
