ABSTRACT
The article reports on the aspects of corrosion of magnesium alloys and the initiative to protect magnesium alloys from corrosion through effective surface cleaning. It mentions the properties and the use of magnesium alloys in industries such as automotive, electronics, and aerospace industries showing significant advances for the industry. Moreover, it notes the significance of using high voltage micro-arc anodic oxidation (MAO) as a coating platform for subsequent painting.
