The article reports on the heed of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) towards the American Coatings Association (ACA) and the industry's request to the revision of Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) guidance. The EPA revised its guidance that affirmed the continued use of certain cleaning claims that do not need pesticide registration under FIFRA. The new guidance under EPA reaffirms longstanding industry practice that clearly notes the types of label claims.
