ABSTRACT
The article presents a sample checklist that can be used in coatings industry for auditing crater and dirt in paint and customer plants, and for problem-solving purposes. The author relates that audits are ideally integrated in the plant's operating procedure. He conveys that audits can be more effective if it is performed each time by the same person or group.
