ABSTRACT
The article features the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) Foundation, which reaches out to 30,000 children and uses golf to offer development opportunities to deserving youth. The NCGA Foundation has partnered with community non-profits to offer internships, introductory clinics, and college scholarships for at-risk children. It notes that the NCGA focuses on youth development by using golf as the tool and uses more than 120 facilities at which the children can avail.
