The Scientific Principles Behind Your Favorite Foods

The article reports on fifteen hands-on experiments in which each includes student and teacher pages and challenge students to take on the role of scientist and chef to understand the concepts from chemistry, biology, and physics. Using inexpensive ingredients and basic lab equipment, students will cook food and have the opportunity to learn about physical changes in states of matter.
