ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the copyright restoration law passed by the U.S. Congress in 1994. It states that the articles from the periodical "The Chronicle of Higher Education" explore the fair use of copyrighted materials in higher education. It relates that music professor Lawrence Golan has been restricted under the copyright law for restoration and performing the works or other composers. Moreover, it discusses the 1994 amendment of the 1976 Copyright Act that restores copyright protection.
