ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the development of high-definition (HD) systems in television broadcasting to conform with the increasing demand from consumers who expect high-quality video and audio on their viewing devices. It notes that the design of the local area network (LAN) and information networking infrastructure is an essential aspect of any HD system. Also, it notes that broadcasters are looking for the installation of 3 gigabyte-per-second-compatible systems.
