ABSTRACT
The article presents the codes and standards set by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The ASHRAE Standard 188P or the Prevention of Legionellosis Associated with Building Water Systems is designed as a practice standard that eliminates design-oriented specifications. Meanwhile, Standard 90.1-2010 or Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings is on public review for updates of test-procedure references.
