ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study which observed whether nicotine receptor partial agonists are effective for smoking cessation in adults. The study was conducted by researcher L. Cahill and his colleagues, and was published in a 2011 issue of the "Cochrane Database of Systematic Review." The study concluded that varenicline performs better than placebo or bupropion for smoking abstinence at >=6 months.
