ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study which found the agreement of hemoglobin (Hb) A1c and fasting plasma glucose (FPG) tests and the accuracy of elevated HbA1c levels for diagnosis of prediabetes in patients without diabetes. The study was conducted by researcher D.M. Mann and his colleagues, and was published in a 2010 issue of the journal "Diabetes Care."
