ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study which noted whether hormone therapy affects risk for kidney stones in healthy postmenopausal women with or without hysterectomy. The study was conducted by researcher N.M. Maalouf and his colleagues, and was published in a 2010 issue of the "Archives of Internal Medicine." The study concluded that hormone therapy increased risk for kidney stones in healthy postmenopausal women.
