ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study which noted whether a combination of estrogen and progestin can increase long-term risk for invasive breast cancer and breast cancer mortality. The study was conducted by researcher R.T. Chlebowski and his colleagues, and was published in a 2010 issue of the "Journal of American Medical Association." The study revealed that estrogen combined with progestin increased long-term risk for invasive breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
