ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study which noted whether once-daily B-vitamin supplements reduce major vascular events in patients with recent stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA). The study, which was published in a 2010 issue of the journal "Lancet," found that in patients with recent stroke or transient ischemic attack, once-daily B-vitamin supplements did not reduce a composite of nonfatal stroke or death from any vascular cause.
