ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study which found the effectiveness of topical nitroglycerin for treating tendinopathies. The study which was conducted by researcher E.D. Gambito and his colleagues at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital in Manila, Philippines, was published in a 2010 issue of the "Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation." The study revealed that topical nitroglycerin was more effective than placebo for reducing pain in patients with chronic tendinopathies.
