ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the equipment used by Jeff Beck and Imelda May band. It states that front-of-house (FOH) engineer Ben Findlay mixes on an Avid Profile console from Avid Technology Inc., which uses TDM plug-ins from Avid. It relates that Beck uses Marshall amplification PLC and d&B audiotechnik M2 wedges. It adds that May makes use of a Beyerdynamic M88 microphone from Beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG which Findlay says helps subdue her voice.
