Studies the effectivity of laser-induced pressure pulse to determine surface charges in inhomogeneous solid and gas dielectric materials. Basis of the calculation necessary to perform the laser-induced pressure pulse measurement; Usage of varied protocols of charge determination; Influence of noise level to the sensitivity of the method.
