The author discusses the ongoing tensions between environmental organizations who seek to preserve Australia's marine resources and those of the fishing industry. He accuses the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) of claiming a victory in the Ningaloo Coast, but states that this is a vainglorious attempt on their part to take credit where they do not deserve it. He accuses all such organizations of hurting the fishing and food industry, and believes that their information is not based on scientific information.
