ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the relations of Azerbaijan with other countries. The country joined the United Nations (UN), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Euro-Atlantic Partnership, among others. The dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh is the major domestic and international issue affecting the country. Resolutions were adopted by the UN Security Council in 1993 to stop the violence in the region.
