An introduction to the journal is presented in which the editor discusses various reports published within the issue including an essay by Fareed Zakaria concerning reasons that Middle Eastern youth are an engine for historic change in the region: technology and demographics, and an article by Bobby Ghosh that provides information on the youth behind the Middle Eastern democracy movement.
