The article discusses a court case involving St. Joseph Outpatient Clinic in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. A local tax assessor in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa has decided that the clinic should be taxed because its operation is more like a physician's office instead of a hospital. However, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled in favor of the hospital which is seeking to extend its tax-exemption status to an outpatient-care clinic.
