ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the healthcare market in the area of Livonia, Warren and Detroit in Michigan. According to Greater Detroit Area Health Council president Vernice Davis Anthony, the plummeting home values and the shrinking census counts do not fully reflect the story about the healthcare market in Detroit. She adds that a shortage of primary-care physicians is also an acute problem in Detroit. The features of the Save Lives/Save Dollars project are also discussed.
