It stresses that the utilities sector can achieve a smarter grid by upgrading its communication systems and structures in order to achieve a fully interoperable communications. It adds that the sector can deploy a software application that can use fourth generation to achieve a smarter grid. Such software is considered to provide flexible, mobile and lightweight solutions.
