The article focuses on various materials which are available for outdoor interpretative panels and sculptures in Great Britain. It highlights the striking qualities of Cast Sphevoidal Graphite (SG), the bright orange colour that it develops initially as well as the vitreous enamelled lava stone. It discusses etched metal and latex-based ink into self-adhesive vinyl.
