ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the use of a debt-recovery solution which helps Delta Community Credit Union (DCCU) to cut in half its consumer loan delinquencies since October 2010. Lynn Hayhurst of DCCU mentions the deployment of Collection Advantage and discussed the downward trend from a 1.25% delinquency rate to 1.06%, and further down to 0.63%. Moreover, the Collection Advantage uses credit-based scoring and consumer contact data to identify accounts with the least and greatest recovery.
