ABSTRACT
The article discusses the blind spots in building ethical behavior. It focuses on over-claiming one's contributions driven by the difference on perceptions about how a person will behave before a dilemma, the actual behavior when making the decision and the recollection of biases after the dilemma. It also notes steps to become the ideal leader including making the preparation to decide and anticipate the want self, being ready to give voice to the should self and making an accurate evaluation of the unethical choice.
