ABSTRACT
The article discusses business leaders' use of custom simulations of an enterprise, unit or process to develop strategic alignment and execution capability when faced with certain situations. Simulations are found to be helpful when dealing with new business processes or plans such as implementing new strategies or performance objectives, improving financial decision-making and transforming sales teams into drivers of business results. The key elements of effective simulation are also presented, including high realism and dynamic competitiveness.
