ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the number of high-definition (HD) channels being offered by several cable operators. Derek Chang of DirectTV Inc. says the company will continue to add channels selectively where they can deliver value to the customer. Marcien Jenckes of Comcast Corp. says they offer 150 HD channels in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It adds that AT&T claims the top tally of 176 HD channels in U-verse television (TV) markets throughout the U.S.
