ABSTRACT
The article looks at the benefits of carbon offsets on the environment. It argues that offsets help protect forests and ease the transition to a low-carbon future. It also emphasizes that the use of carbon offsets helps the management of deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions. It can also reduce heat-trapping carbon pollutants and provides a host of other benefits to society.
