The article offers information on the Copyright Alert System, in which several Internet-service providers in the U.S. including Time Warner Cable Inc., AT&T Inc., and Cablevision Systems Corp. will send warnings to broadband consumers whose broadband accounts are used to steal digital media. It mentions that Internet-service providers will send up to six electronic warnings to notify subscribers on content theft. Furthermore, a mitigation measure will be included to block digital media stealing.
