This section offers food service industry news briefs. The Discover Duck Chef Recipe Contest was launched by Maple Leaf Farms which will give away a total of 13,500 U.S. dollars in prizes. Dole Foodservice formed the Dole School Wellness Program that is aimed at providing resources and tools in creating U.S. Dietary Allowance compliant daily school lunch menu. A rebate program for hospital food service operators was launched by Kellogg's Food Away from Home, which offers up to 250 U.S. dollars in savings for 20 boxes of cereals.
