Tamara Almquist of Geisinger Marworth said that absenteeism in their company is lowered as they allow their employees to make their own schedule and at Ponca City School District in Oklahoma, its director of child nutrition uses incentives like iPods or other gadgets to lure his staff members to avoid not coming to work. David Riddle of the Dining Services at Texas A&M University cited that allocation of more responsibility motivates their young employee more.
