The article presents the author's insights on the utilization of wired or wireless Internet Protocol (IP) connection in home networking. The author narrates her experience of working on a video laboratory with a summer intern personnel, wherein she realized that wire still works better with some things. She also says that home networking is fun, and that there is an increase in the number of things requiring IP connection.
