ABSTRACT
The article discusses energy conservation in the precise matching of water flow to the firing rate of a boiler which prevents system short-cycling in the U.S. It notes that a boiler system can satisfy the reduction in heat load through fixed rate operation of variable-speed pumps. It mentions that a higher speed rate of pumps can compromise system efficiency.
