The article focuses on the stoichiometry of urethane reaction. It states that the reaction of urethane shows the reaction between one O-H group and one N=C=O group. It mentions that source of polyurea side reactions with isocyanate could be atmospheric moisture, carboxylic groups, and residual water in raw materials. Meanwhile, it mentions that some form of catalyst is needed by urethane systems to speed up reaction.
