ABSTRACT
The article discusses an investigation conducted by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on the alleged over-earning by Tuscarora Gas Transmission Co., which is owned by a subsidiary by TransCanada Corp. The decision of FERC to conduct an investigation was influenced by complaints from the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUC) and Sierra Pacific Power Co., a major utility customer of the Tuscarora pipeline. The results of reviews conducted by the Nevada parties of Tuscarora's public FERC filings are cited.
